We recommend that 5-10% of a communication budget should be invested in research and measurement. For larger programmes we commit to invest a significant amount of our own uncharged time and resource to learning the business of each client, both before we start work, and during our contract.
We utilise specific measurement tools to:

- Track undertaking and success of implementation
- Report on success in reaching the project goals.
Because an organisation's reputation is everything - communications strategy is most often actually about business strategy. Our people have consistently demonstrated an ability to offer insightful advice to Boards, CEOs and Executive teams, even in the depths of organisational crisis. All staff are trained in strategic business and organisational disciplines.
If the right judgements are made up front on how to handle a challenge, then implementation work can be swift, simple and effective, and most importantly, cost effective.
Providing great counsel is one thing – but many clients also need assistance in carrying out the plans. We have highly skilled staff experienced in writing, media management, research, public affairs, staff relations and investor relations, to act as an operational team on client work.
But we don't claim to be all things to all clients. Our experience in communications means we can make sound judgements on which other parts of our group or external suppliers – such as design, printing and video production – would be most appropriate for your project.
Where we don’t believe we are best suited to undertake an activity, our charge is to recommend those that can, and if required, to manage that relationship.
